Year 7 Catch Up Funding
ACADEMIC YEAR 2018 – 2019
7 students were in receipt of Year 7 Catch up Funding for the Academic Year 2018 – 2019. This equates to 6.5% of the whole school population.
Each of these children has an individual personalised assessment that looks holistically at potential and existing barriers to learning. From this, specific provision is identified to support progress and Attainment.
This process is a whole school approach and as such carried out for all children on an annual basis. As an all through school, the impact of transition from year 6 to year 7 is minimised and each child will already be receiving bespoke support based on their individual needs.
Funding received, is used to support the financing of additional provision. The data reporting identifies that this year group are performing in line with the whole school for whom, outcomes exceed national expectations.
Within this cohort of children there are a wide range of students with multiple diagnosis and complexity of needs. As such, each child needs to be viewed individually and therefore this information is not published to protect individual children’s identities.
