Home School Link Worker

My name is Chelsea and I have been working at The Ridgeway School for 10 years.  During this time, I have worked with most of the students in the school.

In my role as Home School Link Worker, I provide a support between Home and School, this can involve:

• Helping with form filling
• Talking to other agencies on your behalf
• Providing support strategies with communication and behaviour
• Organising support groups and drop-ins
• Liaising with Therapies and supporting with referrals
• Home visits
• Sleep counselling
• Supporting Families with the introduction of new communication systems and devices
